Chef Aaron Whitcomb
Chef Whitcomb joined the narrative team as the Executive Chef in March of 2022. He was born and raised in Colorado, but has had the opportunity to live in Chicago, Monterey Bay, Raleigh, and Phoenix. His heart always brings him back home to Colorado. He is an avid foodie and loves exploring the Denver restaurant scene.
Chef graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado and finished Top of his Class in the Court of Master Sommeliers. He has a passion for food and wine pairings and the experiences built around them.
"I always knew I wanted to cook," Chef Whitcomb says. "I helped my mom cook a lot at home, and instead of watching cartoons growing up, I watched Julia Child, Graham Kerr and The Frugal Gourmet, which my mom thought was weird, but along the way, I learned that I could really cook -- that I was good at it."
Chef is an avid fisherman and most of his vacations involve fishing destinations. He also enjoys making his own lacto-fermented hot sauces, pickles, as well as his own Kahlua mix for White Russians that he calls, Abide (after the Dude in The Big Lebowski.)
